HOLSCHNEIDER
Since 2017, Vera has been a dedicated German Language Teacher at the Rudolf Steiner Waldorf School in New York City, where she crafts student-centered lessons which encourage language proficiency and cross-cultural understanding. With her deep knowledge of the German language, she fosters an environment that nurtures students' linguistic and intellectual growth. Vera’s approach is rooted in a holistic teaching philosophy that values creativity, collaboration, and individualized attention, encouraging students to develop a lifelong love for the German language and culture.
Before her tenure at the Waldorf School, Vera spent over 25 years teaching German at a variety of institutions, including the Italian Consulate in Hamburg, Germany, and several other schools in the Greater New York City area. She has helped countless students achieve fluency in the language, tailored to both academic and professional needs.
In parallel to her teaching career, Vera has had a distinguished career as a Professional Photographer since 1985. Over the past four decades, she has worked with high-profile clients, including Getty Images, CBS, Canon USA, The Allen-Stevenson School, The Children’s Aid Society, Siemens Telecom, and many others.
